The Halal industry is, now more than ever, a buoyant and promising sector for the development of Intra-OIC trade. In this regard, ICDT has set up an interactive and regularly updated Dashboard to provide information on investment trends, trade opportunities, and intra-OIC trade state of play.
The Dashboard covers all sub-sectors of the industry: Islamic finance, fashion, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and food processing.
For the benefit of the enterprises of OIC countries, ICDT developed trade databases in partnership with ITC on potential exports from OIC countries and market access (tariff and non-tariff measures).
Thanks to this virtual helpdesk, OIC enterprises can easily import and export within OIC area with ease.
