From trade facilitation to investment promotion, ICDT operates at several levels to ensure intra-OIC cooperation.
ICDT invests all its resources to stimulate, facilitate and improve the dynamics of trade in the countries of the OIC region.
Our mission consists in facilitating business, promoting trade, attracting, and supporting investments in 57 OIC countries.
Trade Negotiations:
- Advising and assisting the Member States in trade transactions.
- Preparing and organizing intra-OIC negotiations.
Trade Promotion
- the organization of institutional fairs, specialized exhibitions, investment forums and business missions.
- promote products and services, enable commercial transactions and establish partnership relations.
Business Intelligence:
- Collecting and disseminating trade information.
- Providing trade databases, producing, and editing Newsletters.
- Providing member states with the expertise of ICDT in setting up documentation, information centers, and trade information networks.
Partnership Relationships
- Creating targeted partnerships between businesspersons of the OIC Member States.
- Organizing events (exhibitions, fairs, seminars, etc.) with significant added value for direct B2B exchanges.
- Advising and assisting the Member States to establish and organize export promotion centers.
- Expanding advisory and expertise services to the Member States in the field of trade promotion.
Studies and Research:
- Publishing an Annual Report on Intra-OIC Trade.
- Conducting market and sectoral studies.
- Exploring ways and means of reducing barriers to trade among Member Countries.
Investment Promotion:
- Stimulating and Implementing Intra-OIC Investments.
- Attracting and promoting foreign investments in the OIC Member States.
- Encouraging and coordinating partnerships between economic operators in the OIC region.
- Advising and supporting the Member States in a sectoral manner in trade, exports, investments, etc.
Training, Workshop, Seminars …:
- Organizing workshops and training programs.
- Assisting Member States in establishing a group of experts in the various fields of international trade development.
